Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapeutic technique that involves applying targeted pressure to specific areas of the feet to trigger a healing response. The reflex points on the feet correspond to different organs and systems within the body. By stimulating these points, energetic blockages can be released, promoting a free flow of energy and restoring balance. Reflexology also interacts with the body's energy meridians. By activating these meridians and enhancing the flow of chi (or life energy), it can help restore harmony and alleviate feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional imbalance.

Regular reflexology sessions can lead to increased energy, profound relaxation, a stabilized mood, and an overall sense of well-being. While a single session can be deeply relaxing, the greatest benefits are often seen with a series of treatments. This allows the body to maintain a balanced state and supports ongoing healing and wellness.

For those interested in exploring deeper dimensions of their well-being, I offer the option to incorporate Inner Relationship Focusing (IRF) into reflexology sessions. IRF is a form of body psychotherapy that helps process, accept, and move through conditioning patterns that often manifest as physical or emotional discomfort and dis-ease. Although I am not a psychotherapist, I have completed Path One and Path Two IRF training with Ann Weiser Cornell in May 2023. I find great value in integrating IRF into reflexology treatments to enhance the overall healing experience.

Massage

I offer body massage as a therapeutic practice designed to release tension and facilitate the harmonious flow of life energy throughout the body, fostering a profound sense of well-being. With over twenty years of experience, I am highly qualified in various massage techniques, including Swedish body massage, aromatherapy, Tuina Chinese massage, Indian head massage, and sports massage.

By blending my extensive knowledge and experience, I tailor each massage session to meet the unique needs of every client. My approach often incorporates elements of my years of meditation practice, inviting clients to rest in a state of presence during the massage. This integration provides additional healing benefits and enhances the sense of wholeness and rejuvenation.
